What we collect, and why.
Short version: we collect what we need to build your site and get paid for it, we share it only with the services that make that possible, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Last updated October 13, 2026.
1. What we collect
- What you send us about your project: your name, business name, email, phone number if you give it, your business description, and the content, brand details, and preferences you provide for the site itself.
- Payment: by invoice, currently paid with Zelle. We receive confirmation that you paid, the amount, and the name on the payment. We never see your bank login.
- Images and files: uploaded through a project link (currently a Dropbox file request). We receive the files and their names.
- What you send through the contact form: your email, your name if you give it, the topic you pick, and your message. It arrives in our inbox as an email.
- Basic technical data: when you submit a form, our server records your IP address, the time, and your browser's name and version. We use this only to keep automated spam out.
2. What we use it for
- Building and launching your website.
- Communicating with you about the project.
- Processing your payment and, if you add the Care Plan, your subscription.
- Answering messages you send us.
- Preventing abuse of our forms.
We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't send marketing email you didn't ask for.
3. Who else sees it
Only the services we need to do the work: our bank's payment service (Zelle), our file-upload provider (Dropbox), our email provider, and the hosting provider your site is deployed to. Each has its own privacy policy. We don't sell your information and we don't share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
4. Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't set tracking cookies and doesn't run analytics.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your intake, files, and project correspondence for the duration of the project and for twelve months afterward, so we can support you and pick things up quickly if you come back. After that we delete it. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Messages sent through the contact form, and our server's record of them, are kept for up to twelve months, then deleted.
6. Your choices
You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@250website.com and we'll take care of it within a few business days. If we're mid-build, deleting your data means stopping the project.
7. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for active clients, tell you directly.
